First this is shit old mate. Also, crap distortion pedal, I was in the wrong tuning and the audio track was added after recording. Regardless, I am aware this is shit, I posted it to show certain people how i was doing at that time.

Awesome, thanks for the comment. The upcoming vid will fauture my new guitar, and my fairly better skills at this song. Then there's going to be another video of my own riffs and some improvisation :)

not to be mean or anything but...is the audio screwed up or is it me? just wandering, thats better then i was when i was playing for afew months, now its 1 and a half years and still i aint that good.

:lol You ain't being mean. It is indeed horribly screwed up. But there are some good reasons for that. I was playign straight into the computer, without using my amp, and the thing that connects was a bit broken and making fuzzy noises. And Windows movie maker messes up all sound recorded onto it :( But i have sorted all that out now.

I've almos tgot this song perfected now. I'm doing a video at some point soon showing a few simple riffs as well.

When I made that i had been playing for Months. Now i've been playing for... 7 months!

I would say i've improved a huge amount since then.

Also I think I may have been using the wrong tuning there as well

cool, i have been playin off and on for about a year now, maybe 3 months of serious playin in that year though. I havent heard this song before so i dont know what tuning it supposed to be in, but it didnt sound that bad, some mistakes though i can tell, but heck i have mistakes on all my vids, lol. just a part of learning. good luck and with enough practice you will be awesome!! my opinion though, stay away from Fenders if you want a metal sound, just my opinion, i had one and didnt like it.

Yeah this is just my first guitar. I'm getting a flying V of some description, maybe a custom made one at some point July/August.

yeah, my fist was a Fender also, it took me 2 weeks to figure out it wont put a good metal sound out, there good guitars, just not for metal to me, i now have 2 ESP's, a Les Paul, a Dean, a Schecter, and a Jackson. and most of my guitars (i have 7 total)have EMG pickups and floyd rose tremolos. I love EMG's, there awesome, and Floyd Rose tremolos , once again them are just my opinions. I thought about a flying V but i figure too hard to play sitting down, i will eventually get one though, lol.

I'm still messing round with settings on it, what particularly did you find wrong with it? too many highs, lows, mids? O.o I'm still getting used to it...
