Honestly I'd appreciate a CG Soul Calibur film than live action. I just cant see it done using live actors and make it a great film unless someone can pen a great script and not end up being B-rated cheesy or hyped Hollywood to the point it's no longer "Soul Calibur". Those are some great choices. But this movie has pretty much been tossed aside and there is no production date set. Sammo Hung was going to do the film originally way back in 2001 and put Jackie Chan in it, but he lost interest and it was cancelled and the rights went to Warren Zide. The latest is that they were thinking of changing the story to involve only two characters. If Hollywood did make this they would certainly whitewash all the characters as they usually do.

I just cant see it done using live actors and make it a great film unless someone can pen a great script and not end up being B-rated cheesy or hyped Hollywood to the point it's no longer "Soul Calibur". Those are some great choices. But this movie has pretty much been tossed aside and there is no production date set. Sammo Hung was going to do the film originally way back in 2001 and put Jackie Chan in it, but he lost interest and it was cancelled and the rights went to Warren Zide. The latest is that they were thinking of changing the story to involve only two characters. If Hollywood did make this they would certainly whitewash all the characters as they usually do.
