Stargate Worlds - Ablative Armor: Visual Changes?

The graphics are way out of date and the avatars are really out of date! The benchmark would B Eveonline! I love stargate but would have like to see the graphic end done better!

I would really like to see some procedurally generated armor, like you find piece A and component B and you tack them onto hard points or something and it actually looks like you added components onto a base, instead of just altering stats.

Meh... I always wanted to play as a Jaffa, but a normal one, in simple, plain greyish armor they had in TV series... and when I imagine, game designers will force me to use some shiny silly looking armor at the max lvl stage of game, I think Im gonna throw up :/ I hate epic equipments, why? Because in every MMO so far EPIC is sinonym of "Looks like a plastic toy made by Matell" - so shiny, gold, crystals everywhere... you look like christmas tree and not warrior anymore :/

well since its equipment you are most likely free to use whatever you want as long as your class can use it 9for example ony soldiers can use heavy weapons). If you want you can wear a standard SG uniform but i bet that will put you at a disadvantage. Besides im suprised the SGC never deployed teams with something similar in the movies. I mean they had to have at least a few sets of Anubis drone armor so they could have at least used that from time to time.

it be nice for fps stargaate game for xbox ps3 but i dont know about a mmo for xbox or ps3. i cant wait for this game to come out and i hope for more stargate games to come out

Nice incorporating such a feature into the game. Something similar was done on Anarchy Online. But I always thought it was a good "progression" tool that could be used in other MMO's.

Sorry. That was my head...esssploding from teh awesomeness that is coming our way. Not a fan of tech looking armor for Stargate, but the stuff you're doing looks top notch. I personally still prefer BDUs to Halo cyborg stuff for Stargate. Makes it (the armor) feel out of place or detracts too much from the established look of the series. Still...might grow on me like this stuff under my feet. Should I get this looked at?

Interesting, at least the high levels wont be as think as in other games then :P Usually its like, the higher level, the more armor you wear, and the tougher your suppose to look. I'm glad they took another approach to this.
