screw honda's my 92 had a 3.3 L v6 from a buick century and it was as fast as a mustang gt on a 1/2 mile oval. honda's need $10,000 to keep up with a STOCK grand am se.
I know they are not sports cars but for a family car they move!
@john0648 your really dumb and ignorant you know. my stock acura integra rs does 8.6 0-60 and 205 top speed. from a 1.8l. my cousins grand am is always fuckin broken down fuck load of body roll bad fuel efficiency. bad acceleration for a 3.1l v6. stop spewing bullshit.
@midgetmayo the 3.3 was a good motor. it would never die, i lost 1 of the 3 ignition coils, drove home on 4 of the 6 cylinders. it ran till 220,000 miles before it became a problem. engine swap... drives fine, runs great, moves like a sports car, lasts forever.

Wow yet another kid who doesn't know anything about cars. It doesn't matter what you drive but how you drive... i don't care if itsa geo vs a bugatti. if the person in the bugatti can't drive the geo will win.
what type of car does bminus have? i looked on his page and there's no vids. yeah those 92's were pretty gutless but still respectable just because of how light they are, that helps it out. i was surprised by my friend's 02 grand am he had that had a 4 cylinder in it.
'92's in general weren't slow, the SOHC quad 4 was a turd, thats the issue with this car. you could get the DOHC in a 160 or 180hp version and they really rocked, and still do :)
@jdsanchez473 Actually the quad 4 HO was faster as they were lighter and had 190 hp. The 3.3's only had a 3-speed automatic transmission which really killed the 160 hp car.
94 2.3l dohc ho 170-180hp here, has the exhaust port reductions but not the balance shafts

@john0648 Well said, and (never owned one, but from what I heard) those 3.3s were an outstanding motor.

The Quad 4s are cool...the 180hp version especially. Its faster than my V6 Grand Am. The Quad 4 is way better than the Ecotec.
