@thecooldude9999 Oh OK, I see what your saying. However in this case I'm using the Kellogg's original bells that you see on the outside, and have disconnected the chassis's bells. And your right, I could to the same Bias to those bells too. Thank you for the information!
Great looking phone you got it cheap an it was worth it knowing you could fix it my gransdparents had a phone like this. Great job an work on the phone.
Looks great!! Can you detail the components you used for the conversion? I am looking to do something similar with a very similar phone, but finding the appropriate parts has been a bit of a challenge. Thanks!
Another A+ Job on the telphone, Brian !!!! I love hown you have the keypad inside it and are actually using it!! We have a 1937 Western Electric Model 300 series phone connected to use also, with all original dial operation. They are fun to display and use especially if a friend asks to use your phone & you show them this to use!!!! My tour of your collection on YouTube was so much fun!!! You have some Great Stuff & did BEAUTIFUL restoration on them all!! --Your Pal, Brian Barrett Kerfoot

you should bias those bells, or whenever you pick up ANY phone, it will ding.

@thecooldude9999 I actually like the fact it dings once when I pick up my other phones. But if I chose to bias it, how would I go about doing that?
fadatuberadioman 2 months ago
@fadatuberadioman sometimes, there is a lever that you can move that will bias it left, but you can also use a weak spring to bias it to one side.
