I don't know if it is the guitar of your amp (or youre effect processor)

I use a American Standard (Fender) a Boss ME-70 and a Cube 15x,

And I think that produces a much better sounds,

But that come I guess true my Boss ME-70, so look for some better metal distortion or so ;)

But that all doesn't effect your terrific playing!!!

And your solo.. well what do I need to say? :P its also great like the rest of your cover ;)

There is no new seek and destroy.

They just play all their live songs that are originally in standard E tuning in Eb tuning. Which would be a half step down.

Papa hetfield's voice can't be put under so much stress so THAT is why they tune it down.

Yes, that would be the "new" Seek and Destroy. The tuning differs from the Kill em' All Album as opposed to when Metallica plays it on the Death Magnetic tour.
