I just now discovered your channel and it is great. I have a couple of questions about the half marathon. Was you longest training mile 8 miles or did you train by running 13.1? Did you run the full marathon or did you walk at any point? When training did you ever run on the treadmill or did you always train outside? And how many days per week did you run? Lastly was that only workout regiment you did or did you intergrate any other workouts? Thanks for your time.
Hey I searched 2010 Santa Clarita Marathon and stumbled upon this -- And I totally saw you at the event!! You were in front of me at the end, I remember your shirt! (Mine said @Runforhenry but you prob didn't see since you finished just ahead of me!) Great job on reaching your goal! It was a beautiful course wasn't it? It was my first half marathon and I plan to do the full one next year too! I'm also registered for the LA Marathon in March :)
@galindafied07 Hi Amy! I looked you up on Twitter :) I saw you, too! I noticed the back of your shirt at one point and wondered who you were running for. I even told someone that I saw another runner doing the race for someone & I'm glad you found me. It WAS a great course! Can't wait to do the full on it. I can't believe the lead runner finished the full before I finished the half, haha! Are you doing the Half for the LA marathon? I'm doing another Half in Feb or Mar but haven't decided which.
