Jeeenyus just successfully defended his H1 Ph.D. thesis "Image of the Invisible" and graduated straight SUMMA CUM LAUDE! Best H1 montage of all time...in it's own category, nothing can come lightyears from touching it. Thanks for all the hard work/dedication...much appreciated. I'm on my 4th or 5th watch and it's still not old, even as long as it is, it's not long enough. ;)

Some of the plays weren't that cool considering how people can play now, but I still definitely respect them a ton. This was the first halo game made so it wasn't like they had forever to practice. Most of todays pros have had tons of practice, since they've been playing throughout several games (which is why Tom Ryan is so freaking good). So for these guys to be pooping on kids from the beginning is just insane.

I really enjoyed this video, not only because seeing some old faces like Bonesaw and Rippon was awesome, or because the plays were disgustingly good, it's the fact that it's Halo 1. As one of, if not the only person who's still doing new things in Halo 1 to this day, I loved and appreciated this video. As for the argument about skill gap, I agree, mostly. Halo 2 took a lot of skill, and Halo 3 took some too. Reach's gap only exists if you have a good team. Halo 1 definitely stands apart though.

I also want to say that you can play Halo 3 or Reach, or even Halo 2 and kind of switch off and still be a decent player....but Halo 1, this game is completely different and set apart. You could be the best Halo2/3/Reach player in the world, but if you get on CE you'll get completely and utterly shit on. true skill gap.

I'm not sure how anyone could dislike thing. I started playing with CE, but only splitscreen against friends, same with H2. I only discovered MLG in H3 but I still appreciate CE gameplays/montages so much. I'm going to have a 2v2 LAN (my first LAN ever) in a week from and I want to try out some CE even though we're all H3 players (all found MLG in H3) just because it looks like so much fun. Great montage, glad I've finally seen a 2v2 Triple in CE =p.
