since this kit has almost the same height from most 1/144 scale Gundam model kit, i think its scale is on about 1/144 too because i watched the show and i noticed that the height of Gurren Lagann's foot is almost the same from a tall person has.

Despite a few quips here and there, I really like my linebarrel kit(also a koto kit). you should think about trying a kotobukiya kit thats a little newer. I'm intrigued to see your final thoughts on this, TO the 2nd part I gooooo....

I'm loving the color separation on this kit. From what I've heard, there are no stickers/decals.

Kotobukia kits do great with Armored Cores. If you wanna do one of those for comparison, do it with a Next from Armored Core, they shouldn't let you down there, they're great for people who wanna build stuff with a whole bunch of detail and moving parts.

You don't find them to be appealing asthetically? I can't relate to that at all, the mecha designs in Gurren Lagann never get old for me to look at. In fact, I prefer to stare at them on a daily basis, it make me feel good.

I've always disliked the mecha designs from most of the Gundam shows however, for no particular reason.

rrobbert, if you really want to see a good example of Kotobukiya's best, pick up something like the 1/100th Alteisen kit, or some armored core kits.

While they may not have the best articulation, they are extremly detailed and I find them more enjoyable to build

I've read that the 1/100 Alteisen has issues with weak joints. Apparently the 1/100 Wildwurger is a solid model, though.

The AC kits are great for detail. Overall stability of the models is good at best without extra effort put into reinforcing parts with cement/glue. It seems that the articulation normally suffers due to the design of the AC mecha, though, like in my Aaliyah.

After building an AC model kit, nothing else compares. They're great for people who enjoy the assembly process.

Gurren Lagann is really good show and it's recommended for those Anime fans who like action, Mecha, some cute and sexy girls, and "fanservice" scenes!

some reasons that's why i liked this Anime is because the design of Gurren Lagann and other mechs are really good, and Yoko Littner (the sexy girl with red hair and yellow eyes).
