I love the fact that you didn't just set everything up ahead of time and make it look smooth and perfect when you actually did it. Instead, you let us experience the science of discovery with you....thanks!
HEY, to hell with the negative comments because the are looking at this video to understand how to make one, and you had the ability to try and make your own alkalized water with out giving up $600.00 or more, SO I THANK YOU!!!
So if I understand, we put a tube in between the containers and insert a sponge or membrane to keep the water from moving back and forth. BUT I have a question If we only need the electrons to cross over then why have a tube and sponge at all ? Why not just add two additional terminals which you connect between the containers. Wouldn't this accomplish the same things without having to cut a hole in the side of the container ? doesn't electrons pass as easily within a wire from one to the other
Great Video, three things...plan ahead..............your venting hydrogen.........BOOM and you must use no more than2 volts DC so you don't leach out the chromium out of the Stain Steel.
@SamsportParkour As far as ionized water, I don't know.........the time in making HHO is not dependent on voltage, just the quality at around 2 volts per plate gap.
@KAMPOKULAPO I made a similar ionizer using titanium scrap that I bought off ebay for waaay cheap. Drinking alkaline water or ionized water is extremely healthy just dont drink the acidic side, its only good for plants. As long as you buy some pH test strips from health store and the water isnt much higher than 9.0, you can drink it safely on a regular basis. Side effects are, dissolving of fats (weight loss), much lower chance of auto immune disorders (sickness), and a huge energy boost.
@hobomnky aluminum will corrode very quickly thus rendering the electrode, useless. Titanium is a good substitute and can be bought off ebay for cheap, just search titanium scrap. 6AL-4V titanium is very good for this application.
@hobomnky good call, not many people have titanium lying around, lol. The stuff I bought was 14bucks usd shipped to my door for 4 plates measuring 6 1/2" x 2" x .050" which is great, my total cost was right around 30bucks for the unit.
A plastic box costs $5 at Radio Shack, plus $2 for a switch. Note that sparks ignite hydrogen (remember the Hindenberg). pH testers cost $20 to test how long to leave power on. CO2 in the air dissolves in all beverages to make them acidic, and all rain water is acid rain. The $500 to $4,000 alkaline water machines also add calcium which makes the water more alkaline, just like eating pills from a $10 bottle of calcium at walmart.
Dear Daniel
Can I use plastic container which I do not know whether it is BPA free. For the transformer can I use a AC-DC 24 volt adaptor
How long does it takes to make the water alkaline
can i use stainless steel spoon like you or Can I use copper strips
which is better sea salt or sodium bicarbonate
Await your answer and guidance

@hhoforvolts Interesting point you post here richard, how long does it take ionize the water if only 2 volts apply to the electrode.

How long do you keep your electrodes in the water ? What is the Ph level of the Alkaline water that you are producing?

is it safe to drink?

What did you use sponges for ?
LorentJovet 2 years ago
@LorentJovet the sponge is a barrier for the 2 solutions (so they dont mix) and it allows ions to pass thro it

your making hydrogen, the negative side is making the hydrogen and the positive is making oxyegen, do you actually drink this?
Iseekoutthetruth 2 years ago
Question: why do you have two wire attached to each utensil?
fatsotomuscles 2 years ago
To turn them into electrodes.
