Mercury's dub voice is weird. Half the time I hate it because it sounds so unnatural, I've never heard anyone with that particular accent, and it certainly doesn't sound like a teenager.
On the other hand, it seems to really fit Mercury's appearance and personality... and the voice actress does a great job when (like in this video) she goes from her quiet personality to an aggressive fighter.
@bobdonda so true... I HATED her new voice actor in the 3rd season :/ it just didn't seem to suit her... well.. none of them seemed to have VA's that suited them in the 3rd season.. -.-

In the Japanese dub all she does is scream, which is what she SHOULD be doing. Why the HELL would she say "She's freezing me!" instead of screaming, this dub SO sucks, watch the Japanese version it's way better!

What was a show for teenagers is now dumbed down for five years olds and has these annoying public service announcements at the end of each episode. They also took the magical music and teknified it to make it sound corny. The Japanese version is more mature, the story is better told and the characters are more enjoyable and less annoying.

Same diff, pretty much. Remember, they are often called Sailor Scouts in the beginning of the Dubbed Sailor Moon Series, and that's what I grew up with here.

I like the English Dub just as much as the Japanese version. They are different in their own ways.
I personally hate the English dubbing by Clover though. DiC did a better job in my opinion.

Her attacks are no less powerful than the rest of the other sailor scouts. They just take on a more defensive role than most others.
Being able to freeze an opponent solid like this is pretty freaking sweet, if you ask me. I didn't see that thing fighting back anymore. Did you?
