With respect you are wrong. Senna never finished runner up to Mike Wilson. He finished runner up to Peter Koene in Estoril 1979 and he finished runner up to Peter De Bruijn 1980. On both occasions the Karting World Championship was for 100cc machines before the event was high jacked by the IAME

factory boss Bruno Grana and switched to 135cc capacity engines. As the only factory with

a remotely competetive engine at this strange capacity a string of wins followed for IAME and Mike Wilson.

He's the driver two wheeling the kart in this vid. Ayrton learnt more from him as regards mental attitude and racecraft than any other driver ever and was invariably outqualified and slower in the race than Fullerton........

In my estimation Senna"s far and away the greatest F-1 racer of all time. Also I believe Michael Jordan to be the greatest b-baller, and far and away the greatest man to ever live is Hugh Heffner. However just so you're clear Senna was not what I'd call latino He was of Portuguese descent i.e. European!!!
