Not only was this person a mother, wife, daughter, friend, she was a HERO!! She lost her life responding to a call that might have killed innocent people. I have found the people who have bad things about police are usually the ones breaking the law. These people have no idea what it is like to have the courage to protect our disrespectful, thankless society. Till this day I see the changes it has made in the Community. a new law is being proposed in Deputy Hopper's Honor, this law will set up a statewide database for the people found not guilty by reason of insanity. She was by far one of the kindest and most caring persons I have ever met. Suzanne was an amazing person, we were super close my whole life! I remember the week of Christmas that Thursday we were in walmart and I seen her and I ran up and hugged her she was suprised but that beautiful smile she has and the warm hugs she gave will never be forgotten!! Very very good memorial to Dept. Hopper. I did not know her however WE are all a family. I wish I was able to attend. My dad was there doing the fly over with CPD and a buddy of mine was with the Hamilton Co. SO pipe and drums. I am still amazed at the overall turn out for our fallen sister.

jayecleveland is an Idiot! How dare he make such negative comments. I knew Suzanne personally, she was a beautiful person. When I heard an Officer is down, I wanted to know where my Son was. He is a road deputy! Several members of my family are in local Law Enforcement. Until you can Live in an Officers shoes or the Family of one, KEEP YOU COMMENTS TO YOURSELF and Pray you never need them. Rest In Peace Suzanne.

Thank you for posting! This is a beautiful video. My heart broke when I heard of this tragic loss of life. Heaven has gained itself an angel. May God wrap his loving arms around her family and friends during this very difficult time. Thank you Deputy Hopper for serving your community so bravely! You will not be forgotten! The community support I saw unfold was amazing and it makes me proud to say that I am a native of Clark County! May God bless you all and R.I.P Deputy Hopper!

From a former CCSO CO. my heart goes out to Suzanne's family, friends, coworkers and all involved. Despite not knowing Suzanne personally I cried when I heard of her death. Very few understand what remarkable men and women serve in law enforcement, and even fewer understand why they do what they do. Much love, much respect, and I think this video was beautiful. Thank you for your video. Suzanne will never be forgotten.

I'm a Deputy Sheriff in a nearby county and attended her funeral. Words can't begin to describe it. The outpouring of support from the LE community was beyond belief.

Such a beautiful soul lost forever. It saddened my heart to hear of this event. So many of us take for granted the protection offered so freely to us by our law enforcement. Thank you, Suzanne, as well as all those in law enforcement, for unselfishly giving so freely of yourself to protect us. May our continued prayers comfort Suzanne's family, and may God bless her as an eternal heavenly angel.

You will need some tissues if you take a moment of your time to watch.. Every hair on my body stood up and the chills ran through my body and the tears ran down my face. I Didn’t have the blessed chance to know Deputy Suzanne Hopper, but I have a very Sad Heart for the Loss of such a Beautiful Person. Rest in Peace with the Angles. 1-1-11.

What wonderful tribute to Deputy Hopper. May GOD rest her soul and guide those left behind. It is a shame such fine men and women our required to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep certain members of our society with in the bounds of civility. GOD bless the Hopper Family and the Clark County Sheriff's Office!

This video by far is the best and most honorable video that I have yet to see. Deputy Hopper was an amazing deputy. She was at many of the public events in Clark County, Ohio. It was always nice to see her when I got the chance. This is a touching video and I also hope that it stays up on YouTube!!! Thank you uploader!!! It's greatly appreciated! :D

I didn't know this woman, but based on the photos, she was well liked by her peers. She must have been a very special lady. May God bless her family and friends, and may she rest in peace. May God bless and protect all divisions of law enforcement, EMS, FD, etc.

Suzanne was an amazing person, we were super close my whole life! I remember the week of Christmas that Thursday we were in walmart and I seen her and I ran up and hugged her she was suprised but that beautiful smile she has and the warm hugs she gave will never be forgotten!! I love her sooo much and will never forget her! This video is amazing and if you don't get tears from it you have a problem knowing her or not it still will bring tears to your eyes!!! Thank you for posting!!!!

Very very good memorial to Dept. Hopper. I did not know her however WE are all a family. I wish I was able to attend. My dad was there doing the fly over with CPD and a buddy of mine was with the Hamilton Co. SO pipe and drums. I am still amazed at the overall turn out for our fallen sister.

@hobbes7997 He can not grasp the concept of how the Investigation works. On another video he says, she should had stayed with the Sgt. and she would had lived. Said that they should have went Neighbors trailers and interviewed them before taking the picture. If they went and knocked on Michael's trailer, they both would have lost their lives.

@cclark1296 Sgt Clark, that makes two of us. This tribute was very classy in both content and choices. From the few times I had to opportunity to meet her, she was always first class, as this video reflects. Thank god both deputies were not together as stated in another posting to video. I dont think our comunity could have coped with loosing 2 of you. 1 of our best was bad enough. To you, your dept., and Suzzane's family all our prayers go with you following this tragedy. -Clark County resident

Suzanne will be missed dearly. I took several training classes with her over the years and every time we met she had a smile on her face. This was the largest memorial I have participated in. Sleep in peace my sister in arms

I knew her from several community events, she was a nice lady and loved to call me "Sweaty." She will be dearly missed... I pray for her family and friends. The world is a little less safe and heaven now will be protected by a good woman. I also participated in the Memorial. That was the largest one I have been apart of and that was a super long procession.
