  • First 10 minutes of the film were like 30 seconds of boredom to me. Then a guy spoke, then the movie got outside the train, its sound and visuals cought me and held me til the credits. After reading some very unpleasant reviews of this movie, I lost another bit of faith in mankind - have those dimwits criticizing the film lost all taste? Don't they see the camera work, don't they hear the sound? Seriously, this is GOOD movie and if you say otherwise - to hell with you.

  • What of the Dead Man 100 years later?

  • the film is underrated

  • Bryan must have hit the dislike button 5 more times in his sleep. Bryan, u a sleep walker?

  • not on official soundtrack album?

  • The ancient tradition that the world will be consumed in fire at the end of six thousand years is true;

As I have heard from hell.

The whole creation will be consumed, and appear infinite and holy, where as it now seems finite and corrupt.

This will come to pass by an improvement of sensual enjoyment.

If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

  • Words cant explain how I feel about Neil Young's music..My freakin idol..

  • @redhotharley1 Same here. My music has those gritty guitars too. He is the Godfather of grung.

  • This movie is amazing. It is almost meditative in the quiet beautiful way it is made. I love how many ways it can represent death while keeping a good story line and without feeling overly emblematic. Wonderful set, actors, filming, story... I would watch it again and again.

  • 46 people are "stupid f***ing white men"

  • Neil Young..a TRUE artist from his heart to his fingers...Thank You for posting this

  • Thrown out my guitar when heared this thing

  • one of my top ten fave films ever...and Neil Young was the perfect choice to do the soundtrack for this.

  • from which blake poem is depp reciting?

  • 42 people ment "Ooooh dis I like!"

  • Dead Man is one of those movies that if you understand it, speaks to you. At least it does me, very deep.

  • I have completed a critical inspection of this shabby, hirsute and hysterical Neanderthal girl. I confidently offer my assessment of Miss Nell Young. A slattern of equal aspect has not, nor is likely to ever grace the stage. This frightful young trollop yowls and screeches in a feral manner, the tenor of which is reminiscent of the wayward felines trapped and beaten nightly by my forthright and stalwart groundsman, James. Surely this woman was raised by wild beasts. James! Hurry, I need you...

  • @FuckngBastard Equal aspect is really not what you think of

  • 41 people are doomed to purgatory.....

  • I accidentally hit the negative button 41 times.

  • @BryanEKS89 you must have a tiny brain if you didnt like the film....

  • @BryanEKS89 stop fucking doing it asshole

  • @BryanEKS89 How odd that I happen to see this comment with 41 thumbs up????

  • @JimAdsit

    !

  • @BryanEKS89 one douchebag thinks he's being clever by making a comment about the number of dislikes.

  • @eddievanzant

Best comment yet. Completely agree about the stupidity of it.

  • @BryanEKS89 You should probably look up "opinion" in the dictionary. Try not to assume people actually believe this is the best song ever when they type that; rather, it just means they enjoy it very much.

  • @Joejeeps

How did I even imply that?

  • @Joejeeps

Oh I see the mix, I was replying to the comment where he was replying to me. The song on the other hand I think is amazing, as well as the movie.

  • @eddievanzant He was so clever that you had to call him a douchebag. Feelings hurt? Awww, poor baby.

  • @palui it's just annoying that every video's top comment is some retard saying something about how many dislike the video has. so fuck you. bitch.

  • @BryanEKS89 actors and their editors don't mix with songwriters

  • Comment removed

  • Superb!

  • Watching this video high helped me understand william blake's poety.

  • loved the movie & music is great

  • Found this gem of a movie while playing some Red Dead: Redemption.

  • Terrific film, too bad most people don't see it for what it is.

  • isn't that a quote from jim morrisson ?

  • @billymert shut the fuck up you huge troll

  • @aryanstallyan homo says what? haha, didn't know wether you'd be offended by it but I agree with your profound sense of criticism.

  • @billymert It's a quote by William Blake.

  • @dchoubak thank you, jim must have used it some time

  • @billymert The name of the band 'The Doors' is directly from that quote "....the Doors of Perception..."

  • @billymert

You can't be serious? You have no idea who William Blake is I gather?

  • @BarstoolBlues33 I'm not a native English speaker, i don't think you know any dutch poets either

  • 40 people are fucking morons....

  • Depp's narration reminds me of Ron Pearlman's in Fallout series. Maybe Depp is successor...

  • I love the movie and this soundtrack. I just think that in this vid, some of the clips went by too fast. It's more suitable if it goes a little more slowly. Then it'll become more intense. But 'Dead Man' is definitely one of my favorite movies along with it's soundtrack. <3

  • 0:38 its like thunder :DDomg simply awesome

  • Bm A G

  • does anyone know where i can get the tab for this?

  • @MrMrDash just try by ear, or stick to writting your own music.

  • @AaronBaker12345 i do write my own music, just seein if anyone can giv me a straight answer...thanks anyway

  • neil young is an amazing dude.

  • @tonyrosam Ultimate guitar tabs, type Neil Young Deadman.

  • i do not understand how such a amazing song/video can get dislikes. it should show the names of everyone who dislikes it.

  • @pridekills because what if you go to another video and dislike it when 100 idiots like it and it shows your name and they spam you saying your an idiot because you disliked their video? it all depends on the point of view.

  • Guitar solo #5 came on on my ipod and I had to look for more :) all the hair stood up on my arms and legs again. I love this soundtrack and the movie is pretty good too.

  • DAMN I love that electric guitar -- so powerful, raw, "dirty" -- but the version without talk over is better.

  • Look its dimebag @ 2:26 haha lol
