First 10 minutes of the film were like 30 seconds of boredom to me. Then a guy spoke, then the movie got outside the train, its sound and visuals cought me and held me til the credits. After reading some very unpleasant reviews of this movie, I lost another bit of faith in mankind - have those dimwits criticizing the film lost all taste? Don't they see the camera work, don't they hear the sound? Seriously, this is GOOD movie and if you say otherwise - to hell with you.
the best chord progression ever to be played on a guitar, fuckin amazing, and only Neil could pull it off, the godfather of grunge, fuckin haunts me, god bless the youngster!!!!!
the best fuckin chord progression that has ever been played on a guitar, and only Neil could pull it off, fuckin haunts me, amazing shit Neil, the godfather of grunge, the fucking emperor of sound, god bless the youngster!!!!!
This is the second film that has ever made me cry, and I mean fucking bawl my eyes out. The scenes with the dead deer, and later the canoe alone on the water are fucking powerful.
This movie was AMAZING. Run out immediately and buy the DVD. A Jim Jarmusch film with awesome soundtrack, scenery and acting. Definitely on my list of top ten fave movies of all times.

i like this very very much, thank you for posting it, not seen the movie but the soundtrack is awesome! this is the first i m listening to it, and it goes into my fav box.
This movie is amazing. It is almost meditative in the quiet beautiful way it is made. I love how many ways it can represent death while keeping a good story line and without feeling overly emblematic. Wonderful set, actors, filming, story... I would watch it again and again.
Neil is truly one of the iconic heroes of our generation; with his unbelievable and breathtaking guitar chords, his beautiful pure voice, and his talent for melding music and poetry into one, what a don!

The ancient tradition that the world will be consumed in fire at the end of six thousand years is true;
As I have heard from hell.
The whole creation will be consumed, and appear infinite and holy, where as it now seems finite and corrupt.
This will come to pass by an improvement of sensual enjoyment.
If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite.

I have completed a critical inspection of this shabby, hirsute and hysterical Neanderthal girl. I confidently offer my assessment of Miss Nell Young. A slattern of equal aspect has not, nor is likely to ever grace the stage. This frightful young trollop yowls and screeches in a feral manner, the tenor of which is reminiscent of the wayward felines trapped and beaten nightly by my forthright and stalwart groundsman, James. Surely this woman was raised by wild beasts. James! Hurry, I need you...
