I have an egyptian mau cross that goes nuts like that. One time, on the way to the vet, she got out of her crate and went out the window. (that crate has since been replaced) She was missing for a month, but when she finally came home she wouldn't even eat without me there, followed me everywhere and meowed constantly until she was so hoarse all she could do was croak, and she did that for several days. She is a limpet, you have to pry her off.

Actually bengel cats aren't they only ones that do that, my cat isnt one and she does that all the time, it's actually just the love and bond between the owner and the cat, my cat sits outside my door at 3 in the morning and screaming her head off till I let her in... and when I leave the house she runs after me and walks with me to the train station.

@Jacsors When I left for uni, my adult cat (the other two were only about a month and a half old) sat outside my old room and screamed to be let in, but it had been given to my brothers, so he's become really moody. I'mma buy him a big packet of sliced chicken for Christmas.
