Iphone changed the cell phone industry for ever,you may like it or hate it , but it is a fact that everybody is trying to copy it or better it,next year with a camera in the front it will be able to do videoconference and with the alliance with TMobile (Vodafone in Europe) it will wipe everybody out again

iPhone is so freaking overrated. There's so many phones out right now with all companies that are just as good if not better. The majority of people that want an iPhone now are those that just want apple products, obviously if they decided to go with shitty AT&T coverage. And lets not talk about apps, most of the apps are 3rd party apps available to every company.

Nokia has already been sold in 2 million N97 in the past three months around the world.

IPHONE SUX!!! They just keep getting worse and worse... Was a Treo user for 4 years then had all 3 gen of iphones and im on my 4th replacement of the 3gs 32gig SUXXXXX... Do your research before just taking the iphone plunge. My best friend just got a new BB and I love it.

Wrong. Nokia sell cheap phones and make hardly any profit from them, the iPhone is the complete opposite, it sells fewer numbers but apple and it's various service provides make much more money from them. It doesn't matter how many phones you sell if you don't make money from them.

They had the worst 2Q in years but have big opportunities in smartphones (iphone is not the only one, Nokia would have a big piece of cake), services (launch of OVI was a disaster but they would put it to work) and emerging markets. Would you like to sell "cheap phones" in China and India (population: 7.5 billion)? Iphone: at the begining: not copy and paste, the keyboard was not reliable (everybody has to erease at least twice in a sentence), it´s not within range if you have 3G connected

You've also got to consider the tremendous accelerating growth the iPhone has experienced in just TWO YEARS, and conversely look at the accelerating decline Nokia has seen.

Nokia obviously sells more phones, but thats not the important thing to look at.
