And you just remember me of that match JBL vs Eddie Guerrero (winner JBL) for the WWE Championship, that went down as one of the best 5 wrestling matches ever. Simply EPIC.

Not that there's anything wrong, when you consider how difficult it is to come up with something totally new in an industry that's been around for so long. That said, JBL was my Ted Dibiase, and in my eyes he perfected the gimmick.

There will never be a guy that can do better promos than JBL. He finally got a WWE Championship and was a great champion. He was the best heel next to Triple H, and the only person that may get to JBL's level is CM Punk. JBL was a great champion and carried Smackdown that entire 2004 year.

@irishdan2007 "SmackDown" also had a lot of injuries and guys who weren't quite ready to be in the WWE title picture when Eddie Guerrero was WWE Champion.

Remember that Eddie also had faith in Bradshaw's ability to step it up as a main-eventer in his own right. In Bradshaw's case, his transformation into John "Bradshaw" Layfield was the best decision he made for his career because it beautifully illustrates the 'win or go home' credo.
