Everybody, watch the original 310 to Yuma done in 1957, it puts this one to shame. Glen Ford was a much better Ben Wade. But I guess we must look at the director.
This doesn't make sense. First he pulls out his pistols, aiming both at the guy in front. Then he crosses, shooting the guys on either side with the opposite pistol. But when we see him again at the end, his arms are not crossed, instead it looks like he has shot the two guys with the same-sided arms... ?? ...
@redshark618 yeah it was messed up. in one shot you see both guns fire on the target in front, then he crosses his right arm under to his left, and his left arm to the right.. then with arms crossed he fires his right pistol again to the man on his left, then fires his left pistol to the man on the right..
i'm assuming both Schofields(type of gun) are single-action, since they are made like that so cocking the hammer for all four shots would be difficult. you kind of ruined this scene for me T_T
@joseph150ish you suck. i don't care what you think about him personally (even though you don't know him personally), but there's no denying that he is a phenomenal actor in about every single movie he does.
But Christian Bale has always been my favorite actor, and his performance in this film was outstanding. I can't believe he didn't get nominated for anything for this film

@redshark618 I noticed that as well. Plus, there is a high probability that those side shots would not have been instantaneously lethal.

my opinion, Charlie Prince and Ben Wade were the two most imposing characters in the film...their prescence really drives the narrative.

I loved both Charlie Prince and Christian Bale!!
