It's a carpeted staircase. And guinea pigs have little nails, so it's pretty easy to climb it. And i'm pretty sure the owner would rather drop the camera then letting his/her guinea pig fall from the stairs. Even if that happens, chances that she'd fall all the way down are pretty slim. so i like ;P

@Kelenti Actually, hamsters are wonderful pets, for the right person. :) I've owned about 10 of them. But I do agree with you halfway, I've had 6 guinea pigs, and I like their personality much better than that of a hamster.

Maybe they just hated that some put music over the sound of the animal. Or thought the video quality sucks (which it does).

"Cute" doesn't make an animal. There are dogs that are ugly as sin but they still are loyal and good companions to humans. Elephants aren't exactly cute but they are smart and emotional animals.

@karla9548 well, hamsters dont last very long and can get heart attacks very easily and can get lost quite easily too and can also bite if distressed (which can also be done easily) and can be a bit hard to clean up after, guinea pigs poop alot (trust me, i have one) and can wee on you if you're not careful, dont bite unless feeling threatened but also molt quite often and are easy to clean up after. bunnies, they scratch alot and have very sharp nails and have more chance of biting you.

@karla9548 guinea pigs. rabbits tend to bite sometimes (my friends rabbit almost bit me cuz i took his carrot lol) and hampsters will bite if u hold them too long. i have 2 guinea pigs and a hampster and the hampster bit me b4 cuz i held it too long. i had guinea pigs for a month now and they havent bit me and when they do they start clicking which means to keep ur distance

I have one and it only bites wen its mad or your hand smells strongly like veggies or guinea pig food! lol so a FEMAlw is perfect and its abyssinian doesnt make noises in the night though and arent hyper as long as you have a perfect size cage lol i have one named tina and shes adorable and perfect for me and seems like a perfect breed for u

@karla9548 i think you should have a guinea pig i have had a hamster and a bunny and my hamster bit me ,my sister, and my friend. then my bunny did not like me and it was very hard to keep up with. I am 12 and i have two guinea pigs they are very shy but they show affection it just takes a little time. They are a bit of work sometimes i wish i didnt have them but there worth it. i am just a lazy person.Some of them r nocternal so they mite make a lil noise at nite i recomend gettting 2 they get2

@karla9548 I think a guinea pig would be a nice pet. :) There not too hyper and not too agressive. But they DO shed alot. And you have to bathe them regularly. so yeah....other than that they make awesome pets. ^^

@karla9548 Hamster's don't make great pets, being nocturnal and liking to live alone. Rabbits just don't have the friendly nature that guinea-pigs do.

@Kelenti ur right, guinea pigs, like dogs live in packs or flocks as I should say, feeding, grooming, and escaping from danger as one unit. Thats why they make such good pets, cause they are naturally social and docile.

@karla9548 id mostly say sumthing small seeming how you have fragile items in your house and i recommend a hamster's cause they love to run around lot with the little ball thing you can get in the shop and hamsters have tiny teeth and very small so they cant bite so bad so go with the hamster ;)

@karla9548 guinea pigs nibble but its rare for them to bite :) their like cats they groom themselves but they need weekly baths some are active some are lazy i have a half lazy have active guinea pig and she is wonderful! if u dont want a hair all over the place guinea pig then get an american guinea pig thats what i have american guinea pigs are short hair and the shed little hair guinea pigs love the cuddle so hold them often hold guinea pigs close to u or they wont feel secure when u hold it

@karla9548 guineas i think, bunnies can get hyper and jump around and might break the stuff. hamaster sometimes bite and they get very active. the only time a guinea pig will bite you is if you stick your finger by its mouth, also if there fencing around the garden you can put them in if you like.if a guinea pig gets active to the point you can put them back in the cage

My guinea pig is albino. I got her over 6 years ago and she was pregnant when I got her.. We gave her babies to my friends and the last one died last week (the babies themselves were 5+ years old so thats normal)

And the momma is still kickin! When I woke up this morning she was screaming for food just like she does every morning

@karla9548 I have had hamsters,dwarf hamsters,guenia pigs,rabits,and gerbils..OH and Rats. HONESTLY I recommend a rat,but only if you get it really young so it loves you, OTHERWISE I totally reccomend guenia pigs. they usually don't bite<---rats,piggies,or rabbits---> and rats and caveys are really awesome pets. gueniea pigs aren't too active while most others are.

@karla9548 your best bet would be a Holland Lop Bunny. Theyre very gentle and well tempered. they are completely docile and SO cute and lovable. and their cute little floppy ears are irresistable.
