it looks like one of the guys jumps of the wraith before it blew up and maybe a piece of the wraith came of and killed him and it got registered as a beatdown, kinda like how if you gravity hammer a mongoose and it kills someone its counted as a splatter

he punched right when your plasma bullet hit causing a confusion in the hitscan and it gave you a mistaken beatdown.
