Then after the war broke out they lied about kicking me out for blisters. Saying that I quit or gave up. The Marines gave up on me. I'll never fight for the Marines, I'd rather fight for the Taliban.

I remember the Recruit Exchange. That was right across the Recruit Highway. I was on the top floor of that building across the street. I was in 2nd Bn Golf Company SDI SSGT. Brown August 14th 2009.
If you yel as a recruit with some fucking authority and be meen and nasty just in the way you move they will make you even harder...... much easier on you 2 becuse they will see and just know.

When I fucked up during boot I got corrected like a man should. I didnt run to the Senior DI or the company commander, I took my punishment and I learned from my mistakes like a man should.
the only thing different from 25 years ago is that they aren't allowed to touch the recruit like a random punch in the gut or anything! which i think is stupid! like i know people are going to say what if you were the one getting hit! i would reply that i would be happy to receive the pain for one of the most honored people in the world!

For those who have been there, if you listen in the background you can hear the scribes spouting off "knowledge from the green monster" in the background.
They don't ask you. If they want you to look at them, they will say (yell) "EYEBALLS!". Your head and eyeballs will be looking and they will say what they have to say or show you whatever they're trying to show you (say, if they were demonstrating something).
If you say "no sir" in response, the punishment will depend on the DI. Could be a simple "Shut the fuck/freak/hell up" or it could be the platoon playing in the dirt.

Aye aye sir mainly applies to being dismissed, but can be used in place of yes sir, it's a naval terminolgy that Marines use.......check with your local Marine Corps recruiter for a more detailed explanation.
aye aye sir is what u say when given a command. when asked a question its yes sir or no sir. there is no more sir yes sir in the marine corps. thats only army nowadays i think. when i was in bootcamp one of the recruits did a sir sandwich and got chewed out for it. aye aye sir command. yes no sir answering a question.
and Marines use this naval term because they are basically the infantry for the NAvy...people think they are 4 branches of military when theres is only 3....Army, Air FOrce, and Navy...

try screaming at least 45 minute every hour at the top of your lungs running around, then talk in a normal tone teach something, keep your mouth running, all day even when you are not yelling, use your diaphragm and and see if you can talk normal after doing that for at least doing this for 3 hours. Nope. My husband is a DI, matter of fact I think he's the DI on the left. Hard to tell from the video quality. Anyway, he has to talk low, because if he talks somewhat loud, the DI voice comes out. When I met him for the first time I told him he talks so quiet, I soon then found out why. :)

Boot camp was such a waste of time. A lot of stupid screaming and drill. The training was only 12 weeks, not 32 weeks like the British Royal Marines. This crap hasn't changed since the 1950's. You fire one rifle for a week. Big deal. They need to step it all up; this is the 21st century.

They don't ask you. If they want you to look at them, they will say (yell) "EYEBALLS!". Your head and eyeballs will be looking and they will say what they have to say or show you whatever they're trying to show you (say, if they were demonstrating something).
If you say "no sir" in response, the punishment will depend on the DI. Could be a simple "Shut the fuck/freak/hell up" or it could be the platoon playing in the dirt.

Aye aye sir mainly applies to being dismissed, but can be used in place of yes sir, it's a naval terminolgy that Marines use.......check with your local Marine Corps recruiter for a more detailed explanation.

No they aren't. They're under the DEPARTMENT of the Navy, in the naval service, alongside the U.S. Navy. The Coast Guard is only counted as Navy during times of war, if they are needed. Otherwise, they are under the Department of Homeland Security.

try screaming at least 45 minute every hour at the top of your lungs running around, then talk in a normal tone teach something, keep your mouth running, all day even when you are not yelling, use your diaphragm and and see if you can talk normal after doing that for at least doing this for 3 hours. Hats use the frog because when they try talking normal all that comes out is air.

Nope. My husband is a DI, matter of fact I think he's the DI on the left. Hard to tell from the video quality. Anyway, he has to talk low, because if he talks somewhat loud, the DI voice comes out. When I met him for the first time I told him he talks so quiet, I soon then found out why. :)

Boot camp was such a waste of time. A lot of stupid screaming and drill. The training was only 12 weeks, not 32 weeks like the British Royal Marines. This crap hasn't changed since the 1950's. You fire one rifle for a week. Big deal. They need to step it all up; this is the 21st century.
