hi all I am currently doing a history project on the battle of twyford down at the University of Southampton. I would be really interested to hear the views of any involved. If you could message me and we can get some kind of dialogue going.
@gkeeza there was a book about the campaign published in the late 1990's.I believe the reference department of Southampton central library has a copy.
Thank goodness the protesters didn't get their way. The protesters were in the minority, regardless of how loud their gobs were.

I worked for a security firm during the construction. The wages and overtime were brilliant. I bought a new car for myself and my wife!
