the koenigsegg ccxr is a much better car than the veyron. ok, maybe the veyron is faster 0-60, but what about quarter mile? the veyron can do 10.2 seconds in the1/4 mile, and the ccxr can do 9.9 seconds. next point, the ccxr has a much better power to weight ratio, weighing roughly 2900lbs, with 1014 hp, and the veyron? 4400lbs, 1001 hp. top speed doesn't matter! it's not like you're often gonna drive 253 mph, or you might never. the veyron's also way too heavy to be a track star.  my opinion:)

The Bugatti weights a lot more than any normal supercar and therefore only rides smooth when taking large corners. Take it for a spin on the Nurburgring and you'll be kissing every wall.

Fuel consumption is exaggerated because the Veyron is technologically primitive. All they did was wield two R8 engines together, whereas the CCX performs much better with ONE (1) V8.

The price is exaggerated. IDC if you'd be willing to pay it, that's how it is.

Ugly as hell. Period.

veyron or koenigsegg aren't fastest cars. Modified mazda rx7 or toyota supra are faster than them.someone say that 'but they are modified' So he should think 'veyron is maximumly modified by it's factory. if you put any other turbo or other modification on a veyron, it becomes slower. Not faster! So a modified veyron by factory is slower than a modified rx7 or supra which have 6 seconds on 0-300km/h. You can watch dozens of videos on youtube about them.

Both cars are great achievements for supercars (hypercars according to Top Gear) but couple things.

1. Bugatti was released on 2003.

2. The new Veyron SS is currently the fastest production car with 267 mph and has 1200 bhp.
