Thank you very much for posting your reaction. His speech touched me, and what has touched me more is people like you sharing how he has inspired them to want to be better. Oprah and Kanye's reaction (did you see them on the news? Here on Youtube too) was a classic example.

I'm white & not voting lol

I honestly could care less what race the president is. I'm not like a lot of white people (like Hillary Clinton) and pretend to be the leaders against racism. Because I can promise you a 100-150 years ago she would say things very differently.

Now with that out of the way....

I think Obama gave a amazing speech. BUT I also think it's sad when the only reason most people can give for voting for him is "its time for change". Not his political stances.

Yes. His Vice President also listed off his stances in several videos by claiming Obama was "not ready", "did not have the experience", and "Mccaine would make a better president then Obama.".

Obama's vice president listed off all these "stances" before he changed his mind. I know all about how their political "stances" work.

Yes, that was the initial stages of the Democratic Primary (18 months ago). SO Much has happened since then, that showed that Obama is Not only a "really smart, clean guy" but has great Instincts and Judgement.

From the "Gas Tax Holiday", to Iraq, to the Environment, & to winning the respect of World Leaders, and now his Economic Plan, Obama has proven himself over both Hillary and John McCain. There's a reason why both Bill Gates and Warren Buffet endorse Obama's solutions for the Economy.
