Then I saw what happened in El Hormiguero, then, I watched some interviews and then I saw this one. It wasn't discrimination against Jesse nor American actors in general. It's just that the show he went to has a pretty lame, stupid sense of humor, and therefore makes lame, stupid jokes to every single guest (and some do enjoy that kind of humor, though, luckily, Jesse doesn't). Trust me, I'm Spanish and I know what I'm talking about.
There's no need to fight over this! D: Nobody's either wrong or right here, those are simply different cultures, and I can understand that to someone like Jesse who always talks in a very polite and respectful way, that kind of jokes, which in a country like Spain is simply normal and fun, might seem a little rude. Especially if you don't understand the language and everyone is just laughing and you have no idea why. I'm french btw, so I'm totally neutral about this haha!

@aelix56 I'm guessing by now you had seen the entire interview. Here is few example of him making fun of himself. Having three therapist, being an avid cat owner, taking ice bath, and etc... In this case, he is making fun of an image of us Americans when we go abroad. There is a stereotype to it and he is playing into that. Esto último se garantizó debido a que Castilla colonizó las Indias, no lo conquistó como hicieron otros países, y por ello se convertían en ciudadanos del Reino de Castilla, por lo que tenían los mismos derechos que los Españoles, otra cosa es que en la edad media se explotara a los trabajadores que no tenían derechos, eso pasaba en todo el mundo, no es cosa de los Españoles. Tú, lamentablemente, estás comentando las cosas que os enseñan, pero mezclan cosas por desconocimiento.

1.-División Azul, voluntarios españoles que lucharon a favor del Eje, Franco les ordenó volver a España y los que no quisieron volver fueron los llamados "División Azul"; lo que nadie dice, ni los tan cultos comentaristas de EEUU, es que otras divisiones, españolas, lucharon tanto en el bando Ruso, como en el aliado

Es un tio interesante pero la manera de estar en el hormiguero no me gusto lo mas minimo, es un programa un poco idiota, pero consiste en hacer reir, y la mayoria del tiempo estubieron muy sosos, susurrandose cosas y poniendo muecas desagradables, en parte les entiendo pero por otra parte sabian a lo que iban y no tubierno una actitud adecuada.

Friki!!! Seguero que teneis miles de expresiones inglesas que no entenderiamos nosotros en la vida; antes de decir nada pide que te traduzcan lu que se te dijo en el hormiguero i te den notas de lo que significa cada expresion y el porque de ella.

Mirate la entrevista completa, y te daras cuenta de como va la cosa. Ademas, no todos tienen sentido del humor como otras personas. En mi opinion Justin, Jesse y Andrew se comportaron muy bien el El Hormiguero y fueron graciosos. Then I saw what happened in El Hormiguero, then, I watched some interviews and then I saw this one. Jesse has every right to criticize this program because in fact, they treated Jesse, Andrew and Justin like morons, the presenter and to the audience were making fun at them. I know Spanish and the presenter was seriously stupid with them also they specialy Andrew and Jesse didn't understand very well but they knew that they were mocking of them. Its called Self-Deprecating jokes where the person is making fun of themselves. If you are making fun of yourself, you don't need historical accuracy. I guess Spain doesn't have that type of jokes.

The problem that day was that Justin is very famous in Spain, Jesse wasn't so famous and Andrew was unknown. So the questions were made (most of them) to the wrong person, and the show is not about asking the guests, it's about showing the guests how funny we think we are.

El Pablo Motos es un cantamañanas, y el Hormiguero deja mucho que desear como programa de humor, la verdad.
It wasn't discrimination against Jesse nor American actors in general. It's just that the show he went to has a pretty lame, stupid sense of humor, and therefore makes lame, stupid jokes to every single guest (and some do enjoy that kind of humor, though, luckily, Jesse doesn't). Trust me, I'm Spanish and I know what I'm talking about.

D: Nobody's either wrong or right here, those are simply different cultures, and I can understand that to someone like Jesse who always talks in a very polite and respectful way, that kind of jokes, which in a country like Spain is simply normal and fun, might seem a little rude. If you watched the entire interview instead just a clip of it, you might get it or maybe not. Here is the thing, self deprecating jokes is about making fun of yourself. In this case, he is making fun of an image of us Americans when we go abroad. There is a stereotype to it and he is playing into that.
