I'll tell you what to do if you meet this Escamilla guy. You take out a gun and shoot him in the face.
Tell the police "I saw the robbery suspect and he noticed me calling the police and said something about shooting me and he reached into his pocket and I defended myself." No way you are prosecuted.
Escamilla should turn himself in ASAP or wind up in a grave. That's how shit needs to work.
