This is probably the single greatest & most beautiful piece of music written before 1521 - with the possible exception of some other works by Josquin. And what a lovely performance! I'd like to hear a little more dynamic variation - but, other than that, bravo!
Edward Joseph Nilges, Captain, 442nd Regimental Combat team (Nisei). B. 1915, Cleveland, Ohio. KIA 6 April 1945, Mt Folgorito leading Japanese-American troops. Silver Star. "Te decet hymnus in Sion".
Pray for Japan which must again "endure the unendurable and suffer the insufferable". May the divine spirits of its ancestors watch over the land of the rising sun.
This is simply amazing. It's quite a feat for a western choir to sing something like this from memory -- but add in such a complicated language obstacle and how easily and delightfully they overcome it to make such a beautiful sound... Very, very impressive!

A masterpiece of renaissance music wonderfully sung, especially by the alti and superii.
