  • BTW, the little brown bit that you slide the connector from the battery in to the motherboard, can be pulled up.

  • im having a problem with my repair, the connector pins seem to small to fit in, it wont click in it just moves around freely and falls out, maybe im doing something wrong.

    any suggestions?

  • @shakabufoo im not a pro at this but maybe make sure you have the right battery. check to see that it is for the 5th generation ipod video, and make sure you have the 5th generation ipod video.

  • . . . I just replaced the battery in my video, and they are not joking when they say opening the Ipod is the hardest part. It took me quite a bit to get the two halves separated. But once you get in there, the rest is all downhill.

  • i think i need to replacemy bat too cause as soon as i take it off the charger after been on 4 more then6 hrs as soon as u take it off its like 3/4s full of bar i live in usa so were would i buy a ipod batt
