@startwiththeballs Yeah, I wouldn't be so eager to trust on Wiki pages unless they also provide an official source for the given information. The first movie is quite real-history faithful but it certainly did use a lot of creative freedom, especially with Billy's character. He isn't said to be that thrilled about killing and he was not in that position in the outlawed regulatiors. And he was not best friends with Pat Garrett unlike he is in YG2. For all I know they barely knew each other.

You know.........I read a book on the real history of Billy the Kid and this movie Young Guns and Young Guns II is a surprisingly accurate depiction of what really happened. Id'e say these movies are like 90% accurate. Pretty cool stuff.
