@Taloopis hey man i bought myself for christmas an Austin electric-acoustic guitar. its in your price range, maybe about a hundred more. it sounds like a mix of a yamaha and a taylor, wich are 12 hundred dollar guitars. with the right brand of strings it will sound really good. i have martin guitar strings on mine(for blugrass and country playing) but like i said, find the brand of strings you like and it will work.
