This is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. I live 4 hours from the gulf and I had no such garden problems. Not that an oil spill is good news, it isn't, but the idea of "acid rain" causing your green beans to die is retarded... Look at the other plants in the background, everything else is fine.

No one with half a brain is scared in the way you and your commenters are. Stop watching Glenn Beck and reading Alex Jones and you'll have a much better life. There is no conspiracy.

This is in Wisconsin??!!! Oh, GREEEAAATTTT.....You are NO where near the Gulf, but the air mass patterns do flow directly up that way.... I see the same things in VA...some areas worse than others, starting this summer. At least it makes more sense that I'm witnessing collateral damage, as I am in driving distance from the Atlantic, which I assume has been poisoned, as well. I love the beauty of the Wisconsin northwoods---what a nightmare!!!

Same thing here in E. TX. after the rains from Gulf things look like crud.

Since middle of July. No it's not normal. We're also dealing with ozone damage.

We need a source of uncontaminated dirt also for inside green houses, filter the water. Especially what you drink. I've felt like crud since middle of July.

Excellent video! I live in IL and I noticed this in june with my plants having holes, white corrosion, black burnt spots on my tomatoes and leaves on trees burnt up on aug corexit evaporates in the air carried with wind and rain dumped on land, they are still spraying in the gulf I have friends who have seen it buy as much food as you can cuz anything canned from this summer is poisoned someone in FL tested corexit intheir swimming pool too and a guy was tested with chemicals in his blood

@enviroluver, I hope you are right. Even if i left the beans on too long, that does not explain the holes in the leaves. If you watch all of my videos, you can see the progression of the damage. I will investigate other areas... local crops, trees, ect...

You left the beans on the vine too long. That's what they do.  The cucumbers were left on too long. Tomato plants look like that at the end of the summer. Please post something serious. No one will take environmental issues seriously with videos like this.

@thePopulist, thanks. Trust me, I would be a lot more popuar if i kept my mouth shut. Hopefully I am the worlds worst gardener! I have seen the same damage in other states in the midwest. I am a concerned citizen. I want people to hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

Today i checked my other cucumbers, some were green, one was completely liquified. It was like a water balloon. odd.

Want to see what's in the rain!!. Take a white clean plate and place it in the rain for a few minutes.Then bring it inside and place under a light.You should see numerous black specks.Next using a dropper collect some of those black specks and place on a slide. Using a microscope set it at 30x magnification.here is the proof that it is coming down in the rain.And much more than than just acid rain.Whats left on the plate place on stove on low heat and evaporate.This leaves a brown stain.
