I think it's really sad Liesl had to experience this treatment. The most important thing with anxious patients is to treat them without pain! Now her fear only gets worse and she probably won't go again!!

You can see she's really stressed and focused on the pain! If only the dentist used some techniques to distract her, or to relax her...

I hope poppeke007 could support her, so she keeps going to the dentist, but I really do think she needs to find a dentist specialised in anxious patients!!!!

OMG! but i think their sposed to put sumething to put yu asleep rightt??? because if she was gttng her wisdum teeth out then ya thats what their SUPPOSED to do [and wear glovesxD] buh ya when ur dun the surgery it just feels uncomfortablee it hurts but not trough the surgery. maybe for liike 2 or 3 days after. but yu cant move around eitherr:( iit kind of suckks!! :( but worrth it!! xD

I don't understand' aren't they supposed to give her an anesthetic injection so that she doesn't feel any pain ? I hate the dentist, I could see how petrified she was, my dentist got a piece of my mind when he forced me to have fillings and then made it worse than what it was, I swear I still cannot chew my food without pain. :S

Well stop insulting her!! there is a minority of anxious patients that are hard to manage and hard to manage their pain.First of all during the first visit the doctod should have noticed that and priscribed premedication before intervention.

second point that should be mentioned is that

Anxious patients should have very restricted view on instruments! the instruments passed over head and eyes a better position could be on the right of the doctor so minimum view is granted.
