You're taking heavy fire from the biggest doofus in the whole game. He's totally trashing you with a hi-tech ship. All hope seems lost. Then...a ghostly wail comes from within the depths of the island, chastising the lout who dares trespass into the land of the undead pirate king. Then a big freaking ghost ship RIPS THROUGH THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN and begins circling the enemy ship casually, like a cat walking around a rat.

I will NEVER forget that moment as long as I live. Love this game!

I have already know the power of ganon by reading manga and watch on boss battles.

I doubt ganon can snap cortez's never-die thing. Play the legend of zelda orcaine of time, then try to kill ghost at the graveyard. And they never dies. Ghosts are undead guys.

Cortez was hard until you realized that all you had to do in the third part was use attacks that hit several people. It gave you an incredibly convenient use for Bobbery's ability where he drops bombs all over the level.

For anyone that was curious Hernan Cortez was an infamous explorer during the 1500s but became unpopular in many countries after his brutal conquest of the Aztec people. To this day some people believe he was nothing more than a pirate so i guess they made Cortez in this game a spoof of his real self. In fact the movie Pirates of the Caribbean was based off the legend of him being payed by the Aztecs to stop the senseless violence.
