Wow! WCW was so cheesy in 95, but so was WWE. Wrestling was good from 89-94, then from 97-99. Then good from 02-04. Then 06--08. Every few years, the stories were just horrible with really lame wrestlers.

you've got to admit. some of the storylines and characters were very over the top and sometimes down right stupid, but some of the build up match promos in WCW were the best

TNA uses a similar montage-style hype package for their PPV matches now. Obviously they've drawn influence from WCW in that respect, and I commend them for it, as this is an effective way of building PPVs.
