  • maddddddddddddddddd

  • This is not a sport for the faint of heart.

I know someone who did rifle drill in their high school in Texas and they missed a catch and the barrel of the rifle went through their boot. Luckily it missed his toes, so he was fine, but the fact that these guys have the guts to do this with fixed bayonets shows real guts and trust in each other.

  • I have been watching various other groups from around the lower 48 and was thrilled to see Alaska had a video of their team! Awesome, would love to see more!

  • This blows my Cadet rifle drill team out of the fucking water!

  • outstanding

  • Ouch. My ear

  • Amazing, thinking of utilizing some of the same movements in our rifle team =]

  • incredible.

  • The guy all the way at the left messed up around 1:50 :P

  • Gay uniform. Look like a car repairer. Foot are at what degrees?

  • @JoshuaXiong while your uniform criticism is valid, if crude, they have the right to decide the degrees between their toes. all of the service drill teams also have toes touching.

  • @JoshuaXiong Practice uniforms. And in honor guard feet are together.

  • @JoshuaXiong You're retarded. They don't have a set degrees, but the general rune is that if someones foot can fit between their feet it's fine. And would you rather them have bright hot-pink uniforms with fucking hearts? Retards like you have no idea how much honor the American Military put into their work, and you just go out and make fun of their fucking practice uniforms. Let me guess; you're going to make fun of their boots now too? I'd like to see you do better. God.

  • @JoshuaXiong I just checked this guy out and he got terminated from youtube, goes to show how invalid his opinion is.

  • 1:44 - 1:46 I always wanted to learn how to flip rifle like that.

  • @BothtaweeKelly Yeah, thats why i just looked up "Rifle Drill" and .. i was watching this saying.. their pretty good. Then i realized that they have the Bayonets attached... THATS INSANE! The guy in the middle is VERY trusting and the 4 other guys are VERY good. This is top notch drill work.

  • Cool. 5 stars!

  • Uhh what military branch is this?

  • Air Force

  • Wow that was amazingly clean. They must practice a lot.

  • @TWBaltz they do

  • Uhhh? Why do Americans like to twirl their guns so much? Tradition? Moral? Its interesting but kind of weird. Not meant to offend, but as an outsider it dosn't make sense.

  • it showcases teamwork, percision and mutual trust

  • @jdragon1012 u sound like the guy from the videos that be talkin right b4 the marines perform lolx

  • It is to demonstrate alertness, discipline and control over one's self and rifle. Also tradition and spectacle. Plus, those rifles are considerably heavy and spinning them properly requires some seriouse forearm strength

  • it shows how much we can take order, Drill is a thinkin mans game, and it also teaches military aptitude, discipline

  • first off it's not "gun twirling" it's rifle spinning. it's part tradition, part exhibition purposes, part moral.

  • and in your country they probably have traditions or something that will look weird to an american.

  • is that a real gun?

  • yes and they are all welded shut and bolts removed but they still weigh 12-17 pounds and those are real bayonets on them

  • at the time those M-1s were fully operational...you put a round in there and they'll fire. now the majority of the AF's M-1s are inert (still functional just can't be fired.... (NOT Demiliterized)

  • oh yea same thing basically haha thanks

    point is can't shoot

  • those weapons in the video can...and demil'd weapons and inert weapons are not the same thing

  • @kel30j at the beginning of the video, one of the airmen cycled the bolt (had a little trouble moving it forward though)

  • M1 Garands with bayonet attatched

  • Its alot of hard work to coordinate like that, props to the guy in the middle who could've easily been hit. ( i know from experience ) awesome stuff guys :)

  • yea also as a former rifle drill team member i can honestly say wow. you guys were perfect.

  • As a former member of the USAF Honor Guard I can honestly say that I'm impressed! Good Job!

  • Wonder if they ever hit the guy in the middle...

  • That's just awesome. My fellow honor guard cadets and I want to do something with someone in the middle, but our commander refuses :)

    Great job, especially the timing.

  • it was okay.. only the tosses were difficult, but it sounded good and was really in unison.

There were some mistakes including the guy in back being completely off in one part.

  • I didnt know elmendorf had a silent drill team. Well I learn something knew everyday I guess. Keep up the good work.

  • lol, hey carl whats up? and neither did i...

  • holy shit that was so cool... i wish i could do that

  • Well it has been a while since I posted on here...I can't believe how many people liked this video and such excellent comments. We live by our motto "No Remorse" and that is the attitude you need when performing and practicing. I will go to my grave thinking about the good times in Honor Guards and working with the Fab 5. BigMikeBaby is out....

  • Wow those are nice looking rifles.

  • You guys are excellent! (And extra pts: AK is my home state.)

  • I am in AFJROTC and I have seen so wacky stuff, but now I have seedn it all I am on the drill team but HOLY SHIT

  • WOW, holy. if i could get my cadet drill team to do that! jeez. good frigin work!

  • im a cadet, i'd be happy to try that!

  • i'm a cadet to and my squadron started doing rifle drill this year and we have just started completing spins. we are trying to put together a routine but need to work on some fancy looking passes...they seem way harder then any spin so far .....good video and it must have taken a lot of time to put this together

  • im on a exhibition team too, its the first one for ak-20041.

  • I am the captain of the USS George Washington (CVN-73) Command Exhibition Rifle Drill Team and I want to say WOW!!! only two noticable mess ups. very impressive. keep it up and hope to see you at the all military drill comp in April.

    IS3(ss/sw/aw) Harano

  • love the sound

  • very nice but lets see u do it without signals :P (i.e. tapping the gun etc)

  • at 3:45 it looks like he's doing a nazi salute .__.

I know he's using a sword, but still, it's hard as hell to see.

  • That's really good, only problem is it totally fucks up the firing mechanism in the weapon, but impressive non the less...the only drill the Americans know how to do, and they can do it well! :P

  • very nice where do you guys get your bayonets?

  • nicely done

  • my kids clapped at the end .......

they are pretty hard to impress,

    nice work guys

  • wow the bangs r amazin im well jealous lol

  • hello,

  • COOL!

  • They rocked. Most Base Honor Guards are nowhere near this good. I know a bit about this; I served 21 years in the Air Force and was stationed at nine different bases. Keep up the great work, guys!

  • Before you judge, wear the hat! They are awesome!

  • Nothing impressive. no originality, the precision is there but it lacks excitement. You guys should try new things get away from being like every other Service 4 man

  • are you in the air force cuz you copied their exact 4 man.

  • Yes they are Air Force, Elmendorf is an Air Force Base, and they are members of the base honor guard.

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

    COOL
