Playing Recorded TV Shows from Windows 7 on PS3

The resolution of my TV shows seem degraded when I tried this. Some of the HD recorded shows are very pixelated when I watch them from the PS3. When I use the XBox 360 they are at full resolution, however the PS3 seems to degrade them in the transcoding. Is there a setting that may need to be changed?

you can do this with macs through a program called MediaLink.

how do you orginize it like that?

if your talking about my movies/videos, i just go into Information on each movie and set the Album to be the Genre of movie type, ie 300, Action. etc

it would be more informative (and useful) if you would provide some instructions how to set this up (win7 streaming to ps3). it worked on vista for me, but now i cannot stream vids anymore (as many other ppl based on search results)

i have noticed this too w/my newer mp4 files i've created. i really didn't do anything special in windows7 to do this; just enabeld media sharing.

i'll work on a guide when i get more time this month ;)
