  • Where did you get the rear seats? I just got a 67 Baja and want something similar to yours.

  • @davidtellez89 the front and rear seats are suspension seats from PRP, however the rear seat is custom made to fit inside the roll cage, and all the seats were custom piped with the purple.

  • The almighty y Boxer engine ;)

  • bud, your car is sick, I have a 91 bug (Mexico) I want to make into a baja, but cant imagine doing al the custom work you got on yours, any tips on lifting the front end?

  • @rayvdub the front end you can lift using combo spindles for link pin and raised spindles for ball joints....both are 3'' lifts

  • badass:D i really like it got myself a bug too its just in the projects right now ahah.. wutt size motor is it mine is a 1835 i think? i also want to put sandrail arms in it i just dont like the front beam

  • I just got a baja but with no real modifications to it.. How much was it for the custom roll cage in the bug!? and everything else! i hope to rebuild something similar to this!!!

  • @aram831 lets just say it can get real expensive. the cage has over 80hrs in it.

  • aram831 My advice would be to fix your Baja up with a nice strong engine and good suspension and have fun in it---don't try to make it into this one, because that's major bucks. This is clearly a hand-built racer, and that means thousands of dollars. I might be embarrasing myself here, but I'd guess 20 K at least. Fix yours up street legal, have fun and rake in the style points. (that's what I am doing with my '66)Then, if you want, get another one and hot-rod it check my channel 1960 MarkN

  • p.m. me

  • i am building my 1973 bug into a baja bug and i need some advise on what type of suspension i should put on it?

  • @0311ramos yuh should really get a vw under the year of 1970. over the 70's are superbeetles and harder to make baja unless your makinq it street?

  • Sick bug, but could use some bigger tires

  • @TheStrauch12 ya they are 30*9.50*15 .......needs 48s lol

  • Is that a fiberglass body?

  • @kartthread front end is a one piece fiberglass hood, the rest is all og steel.

  • Very nice.

  • looks good.... .....but could it survive a zombie apocolypse? i agree with icouldntmakeupaname2, put guns instead of headlights

  • @Bigb2059 four .50cal machine guns.......nope! still not enough

  • @Bigb2059 nerd

  • sounds really good!!!

  • you should get a bus trans or an irs

  • @fixier9519 you should read the discription before you post

  • put guns where the headlights were

  • nice baja

  • shame your sellin it :/

  • Thanks man and what about the price?

  • Tell me about that seats im bulding a baja and i wabt those seats

  • @Rolling1919 prp suspension seats w/ custom purple piping

  • awesome ! I love this car hahaha

  • Wicked car bro, shod be REAL fun with that 2054!! Love the parking brake ;-)

  • where do you get a roof rack like that one?

    or was it home made?

how wide is the front beam and how far was it moved forward?

what year and what size motor

    Great looking vw

  • the rack is custom made, the front beam is 6in wider plus 2 1/4 in arms and also wheel spacers for the jeep wheels so i have about 10in wider total. the motor is a 1835 but i blew it since this vid, but ive already built a 2054 with fk 98 cam and its now in the baja

  • also the beam is extended about 3in and angled back 5 degrees for more travel
