@comedylaff "Steppin" aka "Steppers Music" is a form of dance made popular in the Chicago area. It's a very smooth form of dancing which is a take off the old "Boppin" form of dance.

Just look up "Steppin" "Or Steppers Set" on youtube & I'm sure you'll see some videos of folks steppin'.

I beg to differ, James brown was one the funk masters, but it was Willame Bootsy collins who created funk with funky bass lines.For those of use whom are old eough to remember, he changed james brown music, he james used riff because his bass was over powering jams on stage. then bootsy along with half of james brown band went to play George Clinton to be known as parliment ,funkadelic, and Bootsy's Rubberband.
