They were all found guilty of first degree murder and given the death penelty. The fact is that sentence was changed to life in prison. Susan Atkins died in prison and there is an end to it. The others will probably die in prison as well. They all committed horrible crimes and will have to answer for them when they meet their maker, and who is to say what is in a persons heart. Perhaps they are remorseful perhaps not, they will still have to answer for what they did.

They were all found guilty of first degree murder and given the death penelty. The fact is that sentence was changed to life in prison. Susan Atkins died in prison and there is an end to it. The others will probably die in prison as well. They all committed horrible crimes and will have to answer for them when they meet their maker, and who is to say what is in a persons heart. Perhaps they are remorseful perhaps not, they will still have to answer for what they did.
