if you do find a bat, pref and highly recommended, a baby, get a permit if you can. Importantly, with bats, you more like live with them like a roommate more than owning it like property. Second, find out what type of bat it is and feed it it's natural food. get the shots and shit, and you got to let them fly around alot! On the otherhand, they do live alot longer with a shitload of other bats than by themselves

THAT is where the bats are from, she doesn't keep them as pets... the permit allows her to legally raise one up should she encounter one that is injured at home, not to keep it as a companion animal.
