Starcraft II has a snaring-type feature. At least, terrans do.

@link2037 thats not a snaring feature those are maurauders that have an upgrade that slow. has nothing to do with away running units

@mickboe1 Of course, but it seemed to me (having barely played this game) that the ability seen in the video works the same way. Does it not slow the unit's movement speed whether it's running away or not?

@link2037 u can set units on move or attack command. on move command(normal right click) they will be snared. on attack command (A>right click) they wont be slowed as they attack the nearest unit

@filthomatic Not true, you need to buy a premium civ to really do well, but it's not pay to win. Depending on how you look at it, that's $20 for a PC game. That's reasonable. That's how I view "Free to play" games anyway.

@link2037 it's not £20 for a full game though. it's £20 for about a fifth of the game's content, maybe even less depending on how many civ packs they put out.

i got bored of aoe online already. i spent more time playing ottos, germans, brits, dutch, portugese and russians in aoe 3 (which i still enjoy and play occasionally) than greeks in aoe online. aoe 3 cost me £30, aoe online cost me £20.

@dm9910 i totally agree with you, $20 definitely isn't enough to buy the full game, because there are going to be a lot of new contents that will be coming out. Some people predict that this game would cost more than $100 to get the full content. Along with the fact that there will be some "seasonal pass" mini games, AOEO looks more like Runescape, a monthly paid game.

@siden313 You can get powerful military units as elephants or special infantry if you have the right adviser. Also it is a defensive building, it shoot around 3-4 arrows per second( or 1.5 ? xD)
