Is it true that these are so thin that they detune or bend when you press the pedal harder? I play medium - heavy, maybe a bit more to the heavy side, and I admire these hats, but am afraid that they might get screwed.
@grajdrums I recently tried out both the 14" & 15" giant beat hats, because I didn't want to keep on using my vintage 602's. I was suprised with how heavy the giant beats were, they didn't feel fragile at all; a real nice set of cymbals. They're made with the same alloy (B8) as 2002's but are warmer and less bright - they'd stand up to a pounding but they wouldn't have the right sound for hard rock or louder stuff
