ok quick question anyone,..whe you finish your picture and would like to save it,..The picture will save as a photoshop file and not a jpeg or anything, how do I save it as I would any other picture. I have several converters if thats what I need to do. if you replay please kinda tell me if you have the time. please Thank you!!!

you can set it using the curves,

this is a good tutorial on colouring yourself like a avatar but you should do a tutorial on adjusting the facial features too. such as the nose and eyes.

I just paint the face and not the eyes,

then click on the mask tool to create the selection and use the marquee tool to inverse the selection
