  • i wish those engines had the same color as the fuselage.

  • Excellent bird - and the takeoff if I may say so.

  • absolutelly great

  • that airplane is at fort smith and dallis fort worth

  • haha what happened at 2:02

  • Beautiful aircraft !

  • A lots of 747 back !

  • it is silver b/c painting it would add pounds of weight..AA has always been bare like this...check your facts.

  • That livery's so ugly... :-P

  • What a crappy livery for such a nice plane...

  • what happens when it goes into the sun? ahhhhhhhhhhh to bright!

  • Very beautiful plane

  • I love the shine and cleaness to this one....

  • 1:46 a MD-11 =] Awesome plane

  • so many american airlines on the ground there..

  • doesant adding metal like that to the fuselage make the plane stronger?

  • @johnmunoz18 youra pure retard. Its not added metal. Its UNPRIMED metal. Its the same as all aircraft. They save tons of weight by not painting thier aircraft. Enough for maybe 100-1500lb of extra load.

  • @superskullmaster Lol U Mad Bro?

  • Beautiful plane!

  • the way that the rwy's piano keys reflect on the fuselage is epic

  • haha american invasion is right....theres like a gagillion Northwest there cuz of their hub. then theirs united, delta, and american of course lol

  • I love her nude skin.

  • what kind of camera did you shoot that with

  • American Airlines is today absolute crap in every way. Sad that this once great airline has become an icon for bad service and a old crappy fleet. I rather walk then fly American again.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 I love how poeple think that this aircraft isn't painted. Just for your information: the silver color is not that of the hull, but paint.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 shine your cheap shoes then!

  • i love aa keep up the good work

  • American rush in NRT !

  • American has (for the most part) always gone au naturel, that is in their birthday suit. Do you know how much they save on maintenance, paint and fuel by doing this! Unbelievable....

  • That plane is just... Beautifull..! What and amazing plane! Great video..

  • GRAET VIDEO !!!! Thanks.

  • I manage to see the 777 with the one world livery one time from a distance in sju taking off it looks very shiny

  • 777 the magnificent .....

  • omg youd expect the guy thats holding the camera to atleast turn around and see what the fuck is happening at 2.02

  • @liamsniperman1996 hahaha

  • love american airlines

  • An American invasion over there!!!

  • @davie0123 Yeah lol , FEDEX , UNITED , NORTHWEST which now is DELTA , and i think UPS flies there too .

  • nice vid,nice a/c, nice colors...!

  • guy at 2.02 = fkn retarded

  • roflmao

  • beuty!

  • ..but on those 2 AA jets, it looks brilliant - my opinion

  • I prefer the SkyTeam Livery

    :D

  • yesterday this plane was here at KMIA

  • nice airplane

  • whhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt a plane. awesome

  • look at the wingspan on that bird at 0:49

  • If only all of the AA jets were this shiny! I love the wording for the OneWorld part... Maybe American should change their fleet wide livery to have a text style similar to it...

  • definately!

  • lol at the guy in the background at 2:02 :p What on earth is he saying ? hehe

  • I sounds like hes barfing or hes drunk

  • That's one shiny bird, anyone know how long they're keeping her like that?

I've always loved the brushed aluminium of AA jets...

    :)

  • It looks awesome doesn't it! This also saves an airline huge amounts of money on paint jobs, but it makes the aircraft lighter, which means more profit and competitive rates. The paint on one of these birds can way more than one Tonne!

  • United have different paint jobs in that clip

  • that's just the old livery on the ual 747. im sure sometime in the future they will paint the new sceme on it..

  • the best aircraft u could ever flight the AA boing 777-200 or 777-300. smooth ride any where and every where.

  • wow nice video and u can tell thats a new plane and i have to say that the plane was cool and all i wonder how it would look if they fitted a ge90 engine on it

  • 2:01位に変なこと言うやつうざす

  • when its come to ONE WORLD livery, i think AA has most beautiful after BA , JAL ,Qantas and so on.................

  • Guys, it's like the star alliance paint livery. its not the new paint, just the special one

  • thats a badass plane and it huge, like the new paint scheme

  • 2:00 , lol, who are those background people?

  • Is this the new paint scheme for American Airlines?????

  • me like...still however the old lightning design american airlines paint scheme is still bad ass!!!

  • That thing looks like a silver bullet!

  • Its nick name is exactly "silver bullet" ;-)

  • i didnt know northwest took almost all of its 747s to Narita. And United had to have had 3 or so there as well.

But yeah. American Airlines livery is deffinetly tops. Are they making all planes in the one world though?

  • i already do not like having to travel by air ... all the fighting doesnt help

and i had no idea AA had such a gorgeous looking plane now! altho most important is how it operates / can look great but not perform

im so not getting into anyones argument, but if either of you two find discrepancies in WIKIPEDIA, email them please! they really do look into emails even if often it takes a week and they do reply back

  • jetfreak4.. chill the fuck out. goddammit. Fine AA has Trent 892. end of the fucking story. i said Trent 895 cause that's what Wikipedia says the 777-200ER has. if its wrong its wrong. chill the fuck out. i have no idea why someone would want to "plug" or "limit" the worlds most powerful engine.. but Whatever!!

  • Not looking to start an argument on what engines are better etc, but why do airlines choose one brand of jet engine over another? Isn't the RR Trent engine the one that had some ice in the fuel or something that caused a jet to land short of the runway?

  • They usually do it by engine commonality with the rest of their fleet. This is sort of an inconsistency with Delta but in general that is the reason. It also depends on fuel burn, what the route structure is, weight, etc. You'd have to ask each individual airline though. The reason that the GE-90 is the sole engine for the -300ER and the -LR 777s is that GE was the only company to design an engine powerful enough for these variants. RR and PW chose not to do it.

  • thanks for all the info. :)

  • Hello All,

I Have a FS2009(Flight Simulator 2009) I Have Tried to fly A Boeing 777-200ER And Actually The Speed Of A AxA Boeing 777-200ER Is @ the Minimuim of 20/Miles Per Sec. wHICH IS ALSO A Fast amount of speed When it comes to Aviation Records. Which Means the Guiniess World of Record 2009 Is Lying For That Reason Statement! and The Engine Of all AA 777-200ER And Other Version of AA Uses {TRENT ENGINES} Thats it Tnx, Oh yeah My FS2009 Was just a FREE Download So i got it FREE!

  • Flight Simulator 2009 Does NOT Exist Dumbass.

  • All of the AA 777 use the Trent Engines.. (From a AA Mechanic)

  • yeh im pretty sure those are the GE90s. The RR Trents DO make a distinguishable sound, and this one isnt that sound

  • THese are RR Trents. Anyone can tell that just by looking at the engines. The GE-90s look very different in appearance. These engines don't sound anything like the GE-90s.

  • Wow. Your video is really clear. Whenever I upload videos onto youtube, it never comes out that clear. What did you do differently?

  • cool !

  • AA Flight attendants are great in the sack!

  • That looks like so much fun! I wish I could do stuff like that, It looks like there having a great time. Great video b by the way.

  • I love the sound of those RR engines... :-)

  • Or even the GE-90-94B like on this aircraft. It's American airlines and they don't use the Rolls or Pratt. The Rolls actually develops more thrust but has greater fuel consumption, higher cost per unit and requires more maintenance.

  • Our 77's all use the RR Trent. Very distinctive sound. :)

  • Who is Our?

  • AA of course.

  • Wrong. The GE90-115B has more thrust than any other engine in the World!! it's in the Guinness world records.. 115,000+ lbf of thrust.

American Airlines 777's are All 777-223ER's Equipped with RR Trent 800's which are just about 80,000+ lbf of Thrust. Up to Now I've Only Seen United With PW4000s on their 777's and those PW's are crap compared to GE

FYI: RR Trent 800's Sound Nothing Like GE90's.. look for Videos of 777's on the outside and you'll hear the difference.... GE90's Sound is Unique.

  • Who mentioned the -115b, we were discussing the -94b and we are all aware of which engine has the "biggest dick." Just for kicks run down the build data on this a/c (by registration number) then ask yourself how did this slip by me? Search the FAA files not the videos on youtube.

  • Student pilot huh. Nice home page by the way, good luck in your training.

  • Nope, you are wrong about the power. They are equipped with RR Trent 892-17s, both of which produce 90,000-92,000 pounds of thrust each.

  • I'm wrong... and so are u.. AA has RR Trent 895s.. which are 95,000lbf... which is on the 777-200/ER.

RR Trent 892 are only equipped on the 777-300.. which is also 95,000lbf Trent 877 are equipped on the 777-200... and that one is 77,000lbf..and that's it..

    i don't know what u mean by Trent 892*-17*s..

  • You have no idea what you are talking about whatsoever. The only airline that uses the Trent 895 on its 777-200ERs is British Airways, which produces 95,000 pounds of thrust. Delta uses Trent 892s on their 777-200ERs and GE-90-115Bs on their -200LRs. The Trent 892-17 is a Rolls Royce Trent 892 engine that has been given a plug to limit the thrust to 90,000 pounds. i belong to a chatroom of aviation experts and you don't, plus I know people that work on the 777 at AA. The Trent 892 means 92,000

  • THat's how they are designated. American Airlines Boeing 777s are powered by the Rolls Royce Trent 892-17 engine. I belong to a chatroom of aviation experts and have even discussed this exact question with them. Not to mention, AA at one time indicated on their website that their engine was the Trent 892. I know photographers and workers who even gave me the exact data on the engine. Why you think the Trent 895 is the engine for AA I have no idea. BA is the only airline using it.

  • that's a beautiful plane...plus i love to fly with AA...

  • That bird looks sharp as usual! AA's tripple 777s are the best looking birds out there!

  • Awesome! I've always loved the shiny metallic look of AA. I wonder if this is the look of the 777 I'll be flying on in a month to NRT. Triple 7's are the best and I love AA.

  • Beautiful: great job capturing those reflections in the fuselage from 1:36 to 1:55!

  • i'm not sure I like the American Airlines oneworld livery. The words look quite difficult to read at certain angles. The all metal body looks very nice though. Very shiny!

  • Nice video!!! beautiful aircraft, 5* + add in my favourites

  • Happy 75th Birthday AA!

  • That is one amazing video. I wasnt sure about the livery in pictures but seeing it in this video, its one great looking livery. Its now one of my favorites, next to the old united 1995 livery, which can also be seen in this vid :)

  • awesome !! favourites !

  • i can see myself in that fuselage!

  • this has to be in the top 3 liveries
