I love this song. There was an earlier recording that was much better but I haven't been able to find it anywhere. I love Joe and Eddie. My Mother was a huge fan when I was young.
Some of the songs are published by Neil Music, which was GNP-Crescendo's publishing Co....their one big hit was There's A Meeting Here Tonight. Joe Gilbert died in an auto accident in August of 1966. Eddie Brown is still involved in music. Water Boy was the B side of their first GNP 45 (but maybe not this version?). Of the other songs i see on this lp, The Fox was their first Capitol 45 from 1959, however i'd probably assume all of these were Capitol recordings that Sunset/Liberty purchased.
I'm not sure. I never heard of Joe & Eddie before buying this LP.. The person I bought it from said that this LP was issued in 1967, and if Joe passed away in '66 these must be reissued tracks.
ive been looking for this track on youtube for awhile. thanks for posting!

It is a good one. This is a late 60's repackaging of their hits

This tune among many of J&E's songs...memorable and lasting!
To be there when it was performed in real...phenomenal!
RIP Joe
Hi Eddie! ;->

I'd like to hear their version of Mac the Knife. They seem to do a great job with everything they sing.

Joe and Eddie were so dynamic to see in person... got to see them live in Hollywood in the 60's.
