To make a Large circle... just use a string on it... on the other side is a nail tied onto a string and on the other side is the pencil... put the nail with a string on the center... then trace the a circle using a pencil... thats it..

Just head to your local hardware store store and pick up a lazy susan bearing. They are pretty cheap and come in a good variety of sizes.
