Thanks for the help! I am a Triathlete and I am sick of riding inside already and still have 3 months of weather to keep me inside. I wonder if you could use a wireless cadance sensor I have for my Garmin 305 watch. I am not a Tech guy at all so I am lost on how to do this but I want to do it!

It's a great idea. But it's too bad that the image stops. The ones who are doing this, need to do something or talk with google maps, to avoid that the image stop and stop. And if you could turn left or right in the bycicle, that would be good too, but for that I guess you have to make a special byke for the game.

@fernator5 thanks for checking it out :) you can turn in any direction using a nintendo wii remote, im also going to put buttons on the handle bars so you can do it from there too :)

The reason for the image stopping is Google Maps is really only a slide show of images, no matter how fast your wifi connection is there will always be problems, but there is no problem hooking this up with a little extra arduino code to hook it up to prerecorded time coded video landscapes and also games :) :)
