Thank you all for your kind words regarding my slap-dash photography ! I suppose you'd have to go as far as getting your thumb in front of the lens to ruin any photograph of Lakeland. I'm writing this in the Newlands valley and Robinson is indeed the nearest fell to my front door.

Finzi's Dies Natalis is, perhaps, my all time favourite piece of music. The music is, as the lyrics to the rest of the piece tell, to do with the wonder of our being born into a world of such beauty. Thank you for putting photos of part of this beautiful world with the music!
