What part of the south do you live? Because, if that is all you see from 'blacks' in that particular community then you must live amongst them, and therefore, you should relocate, step your game up-by moving, i mean. I hardly deal with hood rats, most of my friends are well rounded and black. Some of them are from the hood, originally, and then they did better with there lives. I think it truly comes down to a large number of African American live in the cities compared to other Americans. To Ms. Jessica: It's hard to find a 100% African American, even some very dark people are mixed with something, but I get your point. It's sad, but you are right. A lot, (not all) black women are very loud and obnoxious. I am black and have very few friends.The friends that I have are not black. I am very soft spoken and shy, so I don't quite fit in with the black community, but what can any one do?

Totally see where you are coming from. I refuse to hang around most blacks at my school and for that i get called "oreo", "self hater" and whatever. but i can't help it. Most of their actions are disgraceful and I dont want to be seen like that. My boyfriend is white too and I had to make all the moves because he was hesistant due to all the stereotypes. Sucks that other peoples actions effect us.

Why can't you just like good men? It's self-hate for anyone of any race to go after a certain other race and exclude their own and all others. @phillipgaley . . . . don't complain about the woman having the 1st refusal. Even in the lower animal kingdom, the female chooses the male. It is incumbent upon the woman to signal which man she would accept amorous attention, in terms which he is able to respond to.
And if things were otherwise, why then, there would be long lines of men crowding around some few beautiful women, and that scene in Society just wouldn't be none too pretty.
