Jodie was brilliant but she was not the right Nancy, Nancy was a tough as nails prostitute, she would not have been as lovey dovey as Jodie played her, and yes there is the idea of her taking her own spin on the character but she cant ignore the facts about women like Nancy during the times the play was set. Kerry Ellis made a better Nancy but Jodie is very talented and it is a shame she hasn't been casted for anything

I loved Jodie from the first show! She was the perfect Nancy - saw her and she was wonderful! However naimh was my favourite in this series - she wasn't right for Nancy but was great to see her doing well in Love never Dies!

I think it was clear from the beginning that Cameron and Barry wanted a young, typically beautiful Nancy. Mackintosh clearly wanted Rachel or Jessie to win; after all he is the king of the west end and should know... instrumental in some of the best casting deicisions ever like Lea Salonga and Jonathon Pryce in Miss Saigon. Well its kinda a long story lol but to shorten it down.. I went to see Wicked Matinee on wednesday the 16th and after the show the Nancys all perfomed live as part of their weekly challenge they have to do! so after they'd finished i went round to the stage door and met them! :)It should be on I'd Do Anything either tonight or tomorrow so look out for it! hehe i might be on it cus the BBC interviewed me but hopefully they will cut me out! lol hope that makes sense :)x
